The Logan County Chamber of Commerce has added a new member to its rolls. Wild Spirit Development, a website design and development company, was welcomed with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday.
Owner Lauren Russell runs the business out of her home. She and her husband, who serves as her IT guy, had lived in the Denver area all of their lives until they moved to Sterling from Highlands Ranch in January, wanting to find a smaller town to call home.
Russell has been doing website development professionally for about seven years now and dabbled in it before that. She has worked with clients nationwide, even in New Zealand, developing websites for both small and large businesses ranging from landscapers to wedding professionals, even a Beanie Baby directory, which she called “the craziest website I’ve done so far.”
“I do e-commerce, basic websites, everything, it’s really run,” Russell said.
Turn-around time for her to create a website varies, basic brochure websites take around four to six weeks while e-commerce websites take around 10-16 weeks. One website for ski members took her a whole year to complete.
“It really depends on the project,” Russell said.
